after having seen a few more Oscar contenders, I again made changes to my list of movies in my rankings......

After careful consideration, and reviewing of as many movies as possible, I have came to a few conclusions..........

2005's Top Ten Movies in my eyes were from least to best....

10. Layer Cake
9. Brokeback Mountain
8. Capote
7. March of the Penguins
6. Walk the Line
5. Crash
4. The Squid and the Whale
3. Match Point
2. Jarhead
1. A History of Violence

Now of course this list could change, I have many more to view, but as of now these are my feelings. I watched A History of Violence last night again and have to say that film didn't get near the recognition it deserved. The story was the most original and the acting was superb (not a movie for the faint of heart though).

I realize I didn't give this as good of a rating the first time around, but after having now viewed so many of the BIG winners I am that much more confident in this film.

Just my two cents.

I doubt that.
