I think the buyback is scheduled for sometime in 2015 but you know that can change and be earlier if the company so decides. As far as a fall correction; don't know. If I did I would make billions...LOL They keep saying it's gonna happen but it doesn't. Right now, contrary to conventional wisdom, AAL is all I own. I made great money 2012 thru 2013 in FNMA, FMCC BAC, MU, SNV, DVN and others but since Apr. 2013 its all AAL all the time...
The buyback is to be completed by the end of 2015. They could have bought all the shares by now. There is just no way of knowing until the next quarterly report or a 6K gets issued. I really hope it was them who bolstered our PPS back from the dismal $35 last week. That would have been the smart thing to do. Buy when the price is low. They can buy any time they want since the money is earmark for just that purpose. Traditionally though companies usually buy at the highest point and get less bang for the buck since they can buy less shares. I think Parker is smarter than that and wants the stock to perform as much as we do. So far he seems to be interested in shareholders wellbeing. Most CEOs give lip service to that but never really do. They do what they want for them not the shareholders. Here I believe it will be different.
