Someone's in denial.
**********
Yep. That'd be you the way you've been denying everything about Conroe performance.

Rev G (K8L) got ya anxious already?
**********
Nope, not here before Jly 07 and then some. Not in volume until Q407 even if it makes the 1H date and then, I expect AMD's 65 nm production to slip.

Didn't expect that AMD's first 65nm parts would be K8L parts with a 4th decoder?
**********
There is no 4th decoder. More denial, the pic was a SC part. Hopefully K8L is not a SC part in late '07 when the world is moving to DC?

Surely you realize that AMD has had several years at this point to work on the successor to the K8.
*******
That's the point, several years..... and nothing new. AMD's architecture is getting old. '08 before any NEW revisions per AMD's roadmap.

You didn't think 65nm was pushed back a little simply for a dumb shrink of the K8, did you?
************
No, actually, I don't. It appears that AMD's process is not that healthy. It's fishy that an outsourced fab is being used to supply parts that AMD can't and in 65 nm before AMD can.

Well, you can always place a few trades tomorrow.
************
I'm doing that. I wanted to buy more puts on AMD, but the price fell too fast before I could get more.

Oh yeah, the decoders that look like memory structures. The
supposed FP boosted K8L with essentially unchanged FPU.

I bet you didn't expect AMD's first 65 nm part to be a single
core device.
