They're kind of closed mouth about how it actually works. I guess they've had an active braking system for years. And this builds on that.

I did talk to one of the Bendix guys who told me it uses wheel rate sensors that are already part of the ABS system and a device to sense yaw rate. Of course, that got me asking details about rate gyros vs. accelerometers. I've worked on active stability systems (auto-pilots in laymen's terms) on jets for many years. So then he tells me, I can be there by invitation only and not to take pictures of any of the equipment. He thinks I'm and industrial spy, I guess. Yesterday they were feeding me!

I can see where an experienced trucker who is careful and takes pride in his skills is not going to like this kind of technology.
