capt_jmj, You may be on to something with your vol analysis. I have never been able to get vol to work for me, but many do.
I did not count the VTO trade that ended Jan 3. I guess I really should have since it ended in 2006. It had a gain of 2.1% and then was followed by a nice little run. I could have caught part of it with my CCI and RSI analysis, but didn't. The total run would have added another 3.9% to that trade. However with the 4 standard trades, the results are 7.6% which is not so bad.
By the way, you said you were using the modified VTO system. If you really are using that system the trades would have been much less because only two trades reached Part Two and the other two only had Part One of the trades. The VTO system assumes 100% trade at the first entry signal. This is what I am trading, but using 28, not 30, as the entry signal. However, because of the 88% success rate on the Part Three trade, I plan to hit it with a bunch of options whenever it comes up. I think Nocona is doing this same thing, that is where I first hear of it.
