itsjustme, you are dead on. Again, as a LONG i say this; if we are to get the "warm fuzzy" as it has been called on this board about the dreams, visions and goals of the officers and directors--it would seem to me that those same visionaries should have the foresight to realize the hypocrisy of the line item showing the doubling of their take.

Reward execution, no doubt, but as the company is still ATTEMPTING to execute their dreams, can these communication artistes remain on a level draw for now?

A rough estimate on the numbers tells me that if the 6 million was not granted it would have reduced the Loss Per Share by around 20%--a not so insignificant figure. At the very least the 6 million could have been used for R&D purposes.

These are the types of things that should be addressed by GTE on some level, as we all know who will address them from the outside if the inside remains mum.

Can you name one or two companies that have NOT done the same thing as GTE surely did not invent this practice. I'm not jumping through hoops over this either but, in todays world if you want to keep GOOD help you got to compensate them accordingly. No one in todays work environment is willing to work for nothing, anywhere...
