Well, at least they blunted the assured coming of the Seth attack by having Dumas put out the Letter to Shareholders. Seth and his buddies would have crucified Huff. They cannot do the same, or at least with as much license, to Dumas.
I will AGAIN say that I find it totally unacceptable, egrigious, and very worrisome, that the Officers and Directors DOUBLED their salaries while GTE is still losing money. If anything makes me lose faith in GTE it will be this. Is this just another example of corporate executives lining their pockets at the expense of shareholders? I did have a high regard for Huff, etal, but that could be fading fast.
They better do something concrete, and fast, to earn that money or I am out of here. Seen to many greedy plays by corporate execs like this, who are only concerned about how much money they can put in their pockets before it all goes bust.
