I agree with what you are saying, but I keep hearing the haunting strains of "the markets can remain irrational longer than most can remain solvent" playing in the background.
Without a doubt, this sentence keeps playing over in my head as well.

You know a market is crazy when a guy I know, a Ph.D. in Finance whose research papers have won paper of the year in one of the most prestigious finance journals around, has been short eBay from like $50 and here it is, sitting around $100. Unbelievable.
That could easily be me if I wasn't committed to ONLY trade PM's.
