I don't think that AG has and is doing what he does because of Bush (though I think that your story about a feud between the bushes and AG is overblown). AG is following successfully a policy of multiple soft landings instead of an Austrian single crash to readjust and reequilibriate the economy. I think AG is quite successful in that, but the results will be a lengthy period of sub par growth, which in my opinion is still preferred to a sudden adjustment which would have resulted from the disciplined Austrian approach.
