MON—I am just waiting for a pullback to add. This is a long-term play imo.

MON is surely one of the premiere plays on ‘The Global Demographic Tailwind’ insofar as the demand for food crops is driven by the multiplicative effect of increasing world population and increasing global affluence, which boosts the per-capita demand for meat and the attendant large amounts of grain required to raise livestock.

Meanwhile, the supply of global arable land is not increasing, so innovative biotechnology is the only realistic hope for increasing crop yields enough to satisfy the demand.

What do you think of Evogene, which is along the same line?

I’m following EVGN, but I consider it too speculative to make a large investment at this time.
