This does not make sense, as I and T4O just showed you that he is.

If what you meant to say was "Do you think that the currently stated upper limit ($68/Lb) is still too high?"
Then the answer is YES, I believe that actual production costs are similar to those for conventional Bombyx Mori silk, plus a small increment for added security.

This is a very thorough economic analysis of the silk farm industry.
It shows a total production cost per kilo of $5.69

So an actual production cost for Monster Silk(TM) of $7/Kg. or $3/Lb is a very reasonable estimate!
