It bothers me to think that someone having just been in an auto accident might be re-routed to a hospital further* away because of people who are there because of life style choices.
coming from someone who thinks it is the tobacco companies' fault/s that people take up smoking and just happen to die of lung cancer.
FWIW... an aunt of mine smoked and died of inoperable lung cancer. When she was diagnosed and knew it was over, she had one thing to say. "I made a choice. It was a bad one."

Talk about accepting responsibility for your actions. I respect her and miss her. I have nothing but contempt for the folks who try to blame their stupidity on the dealer.
