Buy-in?

"Addax is our partner in ALL THREE of our blocks. They are a likely candidate for a buy-in of ERHC as is Sinopec."

Addax cannot possibly do a buy-in for cash if a lot of oil is found. What is the point of becoming a minority shareholder of Addax?

Balance, agree about Sinopec as a posssible limited partner buyin for a lot of cash. China and Sinopec have been very motivated to increase reserves. Sinopec offered a ton of cash for Unical.

BB..Sinopec certainly has the deep pockets and the desire by China to tie up all of the great oil areas.

You're a pretty smart guy. I can neither confirm nor deny your vision of the weeks to come. It seems clear and very logical.
Whether it plays out EXACTLY this way...we'll see won't we.
If you own the stock, just sit back with your mind at ease and watch things happen in their own time.
You must be a chess player as well.

second only to Saudi Arabia ?????????????????

This is a very bold statement, excluding Canadian oil sands, the second is Iraq with 112 bil barrel of oil (2002 data), so we are talking about over 100 bil here. Boy, boy, I really really wish it's true because even erhe only gets 10% of that, we are talking about 10 bil here, with a low ball estimate of $5 per barrel, that will put a price of $70 per share on erhe.
Oh boy I am hearing my heart pumping.

But as they say in science, extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidences. One well in Block one can provide evidence for 100 bil barrel ? I am happy with 10 bil right now.

im just glad we got the PSC's signed before the release of block 1. can you imagine all the mudslinging that ERHE is gonna take from us (the US). theyre gonna pull every dirty trick in the book to drag us through the mud for bringing in China etc. PSCs wouldve been held up forever. Shareholders, be very happy about all the incredible things we have but be prepared for what may be a bumpy road of "news" releases from the powers that be in washington - prepare to be bombarded with the words/phrases "allegations" and "bribery" and "the AG report" etc etc. Lets just hope theres some integrity left in this country and some reporters will try and get the real story out. But, still as they say, theres never any bad press - it will bring in a lot of eyes and wall street types see contracts and oil over and above "allegations" and innuendos of wrongdoing. this should be pretty exciting.

balance_builder, another possible buy-in senario without dilution...

Perhaps SEO sells/swaps some of his ERHE stock to Addax or Sinopec for JVing ERHE in the NEEZ. He benefits by getting some cash/stock now, while they benefit by getting a slice of the pie. The value of his remaining stock (and that of others) is enhanced by the JV and part-ownership by known business entities.

Just theorizing. Don't know if this would really fly. - LT
