But is it fair, in terms of valuation, to use 5000? I mean you would be hard pressed to find very many to argue that 5000 in the Naz was even CLOSE to fair value for some of these stocks, right?

If you are trying to look at extremes, then your correct, but if your implying that somehow "value" in these extremes if fair, that would be a stretch dont you think?

just asking!!

the odds makers in vegas may be as confused as I am or am I too ignorant to rationalize this? Does anyone really know where the policy makers plan will take us? TA alone will not give a complete answer. FA? If we all knew then the market would surely tell us but quick.

Who needs Vegas or Alantic City when we have the stock market.

Well, I lay odds that you're exactly the kind of trader the MM's want in this environment. They could distribute shares to you up to 1750 COMP and you'll be left holding the bag on a drop to 800 COMP, unless you use stops.

If anyone thinks the Nasdaq bottom has been seen that ends the bear, I would suggest they to go back in history and study what bear market bottoms look like and act like.

Hint: It ain't what we saw in October 2002 or March 2003.
