#110399 RE: Smart_Money #110397

Obviously I am in no position to argue, but I am having trouble with the fact that MSFT, INTC, IBM, etc are having trouble with the same % gains on this NEW bull market run, so my question is WHY?

Are they being perceived as stocks stuck between the ditches and the up/down movement is muted and thus not worthy of trading? The volume seems significant in nature that someone/s are selling/buying, but the movement is almost nill.

I just cant understand if the fundamental stocks, those making money and with good P/E's, stable sales, good balance sheets and a history of solid earnings, then WHY are they not leading the charge? Why do we see what some call " trash " stocks going UP, UP and away with sometimes double digit gains over the last few weeks/months? Are these "trash" stock somehow more undervalued than the traditional "stable" stocks?

Not trying to be argumentative here, and for sure not trying to swim upstream, just more confused than anything as to why the reversal of status. I would have thought that the "stable" stocks would be the ones to lead the charge back from the bear, but guess that shows how much I KNOW, right?

TIA to those that respond

Smart Money , Relax Pal . No bull market till we sustain this for the next six weeks. A lot of water yet to go over the dam and I exect these trash stocks to give it up soon. Would love to invest again but NO thanks Just a bull in a bear market soon to be coming to an end . Only problem from my side is how bad is Greenspan willing to destroy our economy with his printing fiat dollars . He said yesterday he had plenty of ammo .Not sure I like the sound of that as sound economic policy . Afraid he and Bush are creating a bigger mess than we dreamed possible . Keep trading and taking profits because you never know when the jig will be up. One other thing crap floats . smagli
