The shares will trade after the IPO. However, unless there are restrictions, you shouldn't have to wait past the end of the third quarter for the IPO/ or listing.

No worries. We don't get the shares until the Fund IPO's. June 30th is just the record date for the Divy determination. They are not giving away something they don't have. Rather they are promising us something they don't have.. Yet ;)
How about NO trading of dividend shares for one year? I don't know about legalities, but greedy trading effects would be eliminated. Quick profit seekers would hate it, but cool longs would love it.
