Ice, keep in mind that 10 Billion barrels of oil is only a 128 world supply at todays consumption rate of 78 Million per day, so even tho such a find would be huge for us, it ain't gonna change the world for everybody else.

Simple supply-demand scenario: there's not enough oil to go around anyway so nobody will drop their price. Lack of supply, increased demand means price will go up.

ICEKING - If there is a sizable oil find don't expect to see
the oil anytime soon. Best guess 4-6 years.

iceking, the impact of a huge discovery to the oil

price is nothing, zero, none, nil, nada.

The world consumes more than 30 bil barrel of oil a year. That whole JDZ region (block 1 to 9) has about $15 bil barrels and it takes many years to bring them to the market. Half year world supply is not that much. In fact, we are entering the "peak oil" time, hold on to your shares because few places on earth, you'll find big oil fields. Another supply is Canada oil sands. My cwpc treats me well today and this week, hope my erhe will do the same next week. GLTA.
