When DSS merged in 2013, they granted the hedgies owning the other entity about 7 millions more shares to be held in escrow, which was counted as part of the share float. They would be able to keep those 7 millions shares if the price of DSS stayed above 4 bucks for a month by the end of June 2014. Obviously, that didn't happen, and so that chunk of 7 millions shares will be retired in July and hence reducing the overall share float of DSS.
