BUT moviesam, overall PROFITABLE...what really counts is the total revenue from a movie, not just the theatrical posrtion...as is common knowledge (and we were educated by Eric in one of the blogs), releasing a small movie in the theatres satisfies certain retail requirements and allows the title to get better shelf space and/or end up on Redbox and Netflix...just because they made it to the theatres...thus exponentially increasing the OVERALL revenue from that title...so it's UNFAIR and SKEWED to consider the small theatrical revenue and IGNORE the LARGE retail DVD/VOD revenue...hope this helps...HHSE
