#70626 RE: Mad Money Monkey #70625

Next step is grant of the patent. If you look at the documents page on the right side of each of the 21 documents you can see that all of the 21 documents listed (all 119 pages) are grouped into the search/examination procedure. Search is a part of the substantive examination procedure. As per the EPO guidelines after the search/substantive examination the application is published, but the application has already been published in the EPB (European Patent Bulletin) last November. The search/examination procedure is the last stage of the granting process. Also, FYI, the preliminary written opinion by the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) has been completed and is one of the 21 documents listed in the search/exam procedure.

I recommend you look thru all of the links that I've provided. After months of research I can see that the EPO has all of the information and documentation they need to make a final decision. The PCT written opinion (YES for all 3 core components used to determine patentability; Novelty, Inventive Step and Industrial Applicability) is highly regarded by the EPO and is a strong indicator that determines patentability. All fees have been paid including patent year 3 renewal fee. Extension states have been added to the first patent. Two additional patent applications were submitted this year and it's doubtful that SVFC's patent attorney would recommend this if he/she felt there were any problems.
