There are several factors involved here, one being this in on the OTC Markets and is non reporting and is complete JUNK. Minimum size to gain displayed quotation at this price range is 100 shares, so obviously much will not be displayed due to not meeting the minimum display requirements of FINRA. Why would someone buy $115 in shares? I dont watch the tape here and nor would I ever, as it is quite boring, but because this is soooooooo illiquid it is easy to see all trade tranaactions here for several months.

Many trades occur on these OTC for such dumb transactions as purely manipulation by someone trying to support the price up here. However I will refer to the above, the OTC is a two tier system, first tier being your broker who can in fact execute trades on your behalf. the second tier being a contracted MM for that broker, if your broker cannot execute a trade and it meets the minimum size requirements at the respective price range it goes to the centralized market via the contracted MM. In this case 5 shares does not meet the minimum size requirements and therefore WILL NOT BE DISPLAYED.

L2 is a trading tool and nothing more, it cannot see any depth, because here in the OTC which is NOT an exchange you are left with a limited viewpoint of what is actually out there. There are many offers sitting out there that DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM in accordance with FINRA Rule 6433. To complicate things even further, there are 8 different types of Limit Orders that WILL NOT BE DISPLAYED, an AON order for example will not be displayed.

As you can see the only reason the Best ASK here exists is simply because it is the only offer that currently meets the minimum size requirements of all orders currently out there to be displayed.

reference:

6433. Minimum Quotation Size Requirements For OTC Equity Securities

Every member entering quotations in any inter-dealer quotation system that permits quotation updates on a real-time basis must enter and honor those quotations for at least the minimum size defined in the table below. In this regard, it is the member's responsibility to determine the minimum size requirement applicable to its quotation. Depending on the price level of the quotation, a different minimum size can apply to each side of the market being quoted by the member in a given security.

Price (Bid or Offer) Minimum Quote Size
0.0001–0.0999 10,000
0.10-0.1999 5,000
0.20–0.5099 2,500
0.51–0.9999 1,000
1.00–174.99 100
175.00+ 1
