OT-ACL Injury Prevention Training for Young Athletes

Fascinating information. But why, given comparative involvement in a given sport, say soccer or lacrosse, would the women athlete's hamstring be developed less? It's not for want of activity in the sport, can it be attributed to supplemental training by males? I would think, all things equal, the anatomical differences would be the most likely reason.

U of Tennessee womens b-ball and was part of a great study regarding ACL and other injuries several years back. have you seen it? ties in nicely w/ others done at UNC, Duke, PSU womens soccer teams and by USOC, colorado springs... their training routines and regiments were altered dramatically and has trickled down to girls youth sports nicely...
