That is my concern as well. He has done what he said he was going to do by getting current but that was a fairly easy task. Those financials are unaudited and could be completed in a week or two at most with any sort of focus.
The Mantivities was a nice surprise, however Ed has stated that they have two movies to be distributed in the US for Fall award potential. So far co-financing does not validate that yet. Mantivities is most likely a low budget production film so I am curious to see what the financing entails. It could be anywhere from $500k to a few million or more. We just don't know.
The Hannah Zilly quote was also a red flag but I get what he was trying to do and she may have claimed to be a Managing Director so we really don't know the details.
My other big concern was in the latest update when he stated that they would release the 2014/2015 schedule as it comes available. To me he was trying to buy time and saying that nothing was imminent, but I could be way off. That's just playing devil's advocate.
We need a real corporate update or a real announcement to get some clarity at this point because Ed built all of this anticipation on his own through twitter and updates. He should clear up some of the details now.
I am still holding and will for a while, but I personally would like to get some sort of update.
