Shah's two Buy recommendations are Applied Materials (AMAT) and Lam Research (LRCX), with a $30 price target on the former and a $75 target on the latter. He rates shares of KLA-Tencor (KLAC) Neutral. On the first point, Shah thinks there will be an increase in spending on so-called wafer front-end, or WFE, equipment these vendors sell next year: the next couple years.
