Although we saw the aquisition as a positive thing when it was announced, I don't think there was that much excitement anyway... There were many questions I noticed from the board asking how much did it cost us and if it was worth it for only so little subscribers... Deal falling through was some relief IMO because the cash we can use for distribution centers which is what I beleive they intend to do.
Notice 2 distribution centers now in Northeast (Maryland & Mass.) that will accomodate a northeast CC rollout
Florida distribution center, which will accomodate a southeast rollout with 46 CC stores in Florida alone.
California distribution center, which will accomadate a west side roll out with 85 CC stores in California alone.
IMO.
It is a possibility that CC came in and advised GNF that if they wanted to do any kind of rollout to not go through with the DVDavenue aquisitions and just focus on adding more distribution centers so that they can start rolling out in specific regions and get this show started. JMO. CC does not want a company running out of cash fast, who knows how much DVDAve would have costed them?
