NEWS: International Star Announces Excellent Results for Column Leach Tests on Van Deemen Bulk Samples

http://www.otcmarkets.com/news/otc-market-headline?id=16175259

May 29, 2014 (eTeligis.com via COMTEX) -- WILTON, CT, United States, via eTeligis Inc., 05/29/2014 - - WILTON, CT-- International Star, Inc. (OTC Pink: ILST) (PINKSHEETS:ILST), provides column leach test results.
International Star is pleased to announce the final results of the column leach tests on gold-bearing samples from the Van Demeen property in Mohave County, Arizona. These results show higher gold recoveries than attained from previous leach tests, and indicates that the majority of the mineralized material leaches relatively quickly. A column comprised of a bulk sample primarily made up of material taken from the area of our proposed pilot plant yielded 69.8% gold recovery in 71 days of leaching.

McClelland Laboratories, Inc. ("McClelland Labs") of Sparks, Nevada, one of the foremost metallurgical testing facilities in the gold mining industry, performed the heap leach cyanidation tests. They tested one column of mineralized material that was crushed to 80% passing -1" mesh sieve size. This crush size simulates the capabilities of the crushing equipment to be used for the pilot plant.Experts at McClelland and International Star's Howard Metzler, VP Operations designed the testing program to determine gold and silver recoveries, recovery rates, and reagent requirements as well as to provide information about the leaching characteristics of the mineralized material at the Van Deemen deposit.

"We are quite pleased with the results from the column leach tests from the Van Deemen deposit because these recoveries are much higher than what has previously been reported from testing done on the deposit in the 1980s.With the testing completed, It allows us to move forward with our preliminary plan of operations," stated Mike Shea, CEO and President of International Star.

The final written report from McClelland Labs is expected to be complete in early June, however, with the information provided, Management can now complete the preliminary plan of operation for submission to the BLM ("Bureau of Land Management").
