Another great post reinforcing the point here, Rule. And yes, Houtheman is right that for longer-term investors who already have a position and are not playing trades, buying new shares or playing options, it's just "noise." Intrinsic value will win out in the end. :-)
Rule, this is why you are number 1 in our books. Please continue your good works. The best PEIX investor is an educated investor. The mushroom hypothesis got us where we are today. random walk and efficient theories are fine at the limits and as Keynes succinctly put it in the long run we are all dead. I am surprised that houtherman would invest in options with his form of investment philosophy. Keep up the good work.
