Yes, but, you do not get the same cross linking as you do from natural spinnerets. Goat spider silk can be made into a fiber also.
Once KBLB come out with a gen 2 fiber, its over.. We own the market... BR, is approaching the tensile strength of native drag line. What I am saying, natural spinnerets are far superior to artificial spinning of fibers.
