Very persuasive defense by Allergan. I do respect Chanos. He may be right or wrong, but his research on fishy accounting tricks is usually solid.

Being a successful and especially surviving short hedge takes a lot of skills and Chanos is one of those.

I never invest in roll-ups - just too many ways they can distort their earnings. And to the extent their distortions are timing-related, they may need to do bigger and bigger acquisitions to keep things looking pretty.
