RE: KovuLK: Clarification.
Glad to hear the weather is nice. But if you don't need that rain, you can send it our way. March and already under water restrictions. Something tells me we are in for a very dry summer.
Stop level: Sell the long (or cover the short) when the trade, at the EOD, is greater than or equal to the stop level. So I went back and found that any stop level above 26% would not get hit EOD, based on trade EOD, 1X. I also found that a stop loss above 27% would not get hit based on trade Next Day Open. When I did the optimize, I had all 841 results sorted on either max system returns or min Max System Drawdown and picked the top line. There was more than one combination that would satisfy the requirements, and so I picked one at the top.
Hope this clears up some confusions.
Profit Level: If an open trade has a profit of more than 30% at the EOD, than you would close the trade at the Next Day Open. This is sometimes also called a profit target.
Does this help clear things up??
