Yes and it is just getting started. Especially once IHUB TOU or TOS or whatever is attempted to be implemented. That undermines the COB Concept if not written correctly. So it is going to get interesting even though I give KUDOs for definitions in what Bob just posted to me. I do not give KUDOs if that is what the COBs have to agree to.
All TOS & TOU needs to cover is the legal for public board and NOT the acitivity.
COB Example: BADBOB and Parking Lot are prime examples of what the original concept is for COBs. That is what I am an advocate for, not to change the COB concept. TOS & TOU or whatever undermines COB if implemented recklessly.
Now IHUB needs common acceptable terms of use like you can't have a child porn site, anti-government site, the character assassinating sites, etc. However, the BADBOB thread sets the example that a COB can limit your posts and can suspend you from posting there if you do not post to a stock thread on topic with a 6 hour period. That demonstrates the original concept and power of the COBs just like the parking lot that it does not matter about terms of use or service or whatever as long as you do not use profanity or vulgarity.
Now this is what I believe is the niche for IHUB the COB control their sites NOT IHUB. IHUB is merely a check on the COB meeting their responsiblities and that is it. Of course this has not hit the fan yet but the TOU had not been implemented yet.
SO I am just waiting. and for site that COBs do not specifically have requirement the default si the TOU... SO the TOU should have a clause that says basically the bottomline the the COB and the restrictions of the thread that memebers have to comply to. SO if I do not post to a stock thread within 6 hours of posting to badbob I am suspended from posting there. I broke than rule intentionally and I unbookedmarked that thread because I broke the rule.
Simple as that.
