Dane, Funnily, with ref to yr last sentence. When going to bed last night, a thought struck me....why are SINOPEC not giving a PR ? (I previously discarted it with the Red China bureacracy), BUT, THEN it HIT ME.
The earlier constant contradictotary messages, forth and back, that there had been contact between ERHE and Chevron; which was totally and several times denied to hv taken place by Meridian.
Now I believe that those discussions might have quite some ground, i.e. the discussions IMO has been mixed with the mere fact that there are probably discussions between Chevron and SINOPEC, BECAUSE Block 1 STRADDLES into SINOPEC'S Block 2; and that is what is taking its time to sort out in writing ?? Of course ERHE is in the mix, but SINOPEC *IS* the Operator, so ERHE is probably indirectly speaking with Chevron THROUGH SINOPEC.
What'U thing, I'm on to something ????? If true, explains a LOT TO ME..............
