THE FOLLOWING IS PREDICATED UPON NO NEWS FROM THE CLOSE TO THE OPEN. IF THERE IS NEWS, ALL BETS ARE OFF.

If a stock that you BUY opens the following day at OVER 15% above the previous close, the trade will not go through.

If a stock you SELL opens the following day at UNDER 15% below the previous close, the trade will not go through.

This protects against wild gyrations in a stock.
