I find that patterns in T/A provide fair guidelines that allow one to position oneself to profit from common trading reaction to price support and resistance. F/A will not tell you what to do with an AM dip, but T/A more often than not will allow you to profit from such an event regardless of which way it goes.
As for percentages, check with Augie. If you don't understand how T/A works, there is a very good tutorial at stockcharts.com that I recommend highly.
