Going back to 1971, the dollar has never really traded below 80. Don't know about before that time. You can see the triple bottom around 80 here <g>:

But if we get a small run soon here in the dollar (a reaction?), what will the market reaction be? positive or negative? Gold is easy, it will probably trend down as the dollar strengthen, but the markets, it is tougher to connect the two.

As for tomorrow, I would not be surprised to see a mild gap and then a mild crap after that with us ending more or less unchanged (slightly down bias). I am not in the morning so I put in few orders under the market as buys (for instance doubling of the bu$$ and JCOM as buys) as few above as sell (for instance PII and PRX if they have outsized moves...).

Now I got to hit the sac...
