#1444 RE: amadeus #1443

researching what kind of merger transactions I can find that mention this particular deal maker of the year and anything on the OTC, found an OTC merger that happened between GLOB and HAE on the nyse. not sure it necessarily means anything specific here, just trying to find some merger history on the OTC he's had something to do with to get an idea of what type of dealmaker track record is out there is as it pertains to the OTC and mergers.

he and another at his firm were copied on this filing, so assuming they had something to do with it..

Global Med Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: GLOB) Completed Merger with Haemonetics Corporation (NYSE: HAE)

HAE is pretty big, shows 1.8B market cap trading at 34.00s...

have not waded through that filing to see what the terms of the transaction were, but this was in the PR

Haemonetics completed the acquisition using approximately $60 million in cash. Michael I. Ruxin, MD, chairman, and CEO of Global Med Technologies, said, “The integration of our two companies is very exciting.

course it sounds like global med certainly wasn't a shell based on that info. but it was a merger of a company on the OTC with one on the NYSE. don't see those too often.
