That can't be right - most pharmacies are charging $215 to $225 retail with the discount card, which is worth up to $75, so max out of pocket would be $300 or so - and I'd think only Medicare patients who have policies that don't yet cover B would pay close to that, as Medicare rules stupidly ban drug coupons/discounts.
Brilliant law Bush put into affect there - take the most financially insecure people and force them to pay the highest prices possible for drugs, then the double whammy of the donut hole, which if paying full retail costs for covered drugs you reach much quicker than you would if discounts were allowed.
