Good write-up, Dubi. The Botox cosmetic-procedure count is hard to track, so I don’t take the number in the article too seriously. There are two reasons for this: 1) The same Botox product is ordered for either cosmetic or therapeutic purposes (sales are approximately 60% therapeutic, 40% cosmetic); and 2) A single vial is frequently split among several cosmetic patients, provided that they have consecutive appointments. (Botox remains potent for approximately four hours after being reconstituted by the injector.)

It’s unlikely that facelifts will ever again rank among the top-5. The whole point of the array of new filler products to produce near-facelift-like results without surgery. Regards, Dew
