Intel has claimed that the delta between Broxton and Bay Trail-T is $20 in terms of the BoM. I would imagine that this is a strong hint as to how much Intel expects to need to pay out on average for the higher end Bay Trail products, and I would assume that since Bay Trail-Entry cut the # of components needed by nearly 1/2, it would come in at about half of that $20 value.

The contra-revenue per Bay Trail-v0 is $20, and for Bay Trail-Entry it is about $10.


Wrong. It's not a fixed value. It differs from customer to customer. It's based on the delta in BOM costs, in order to level the playing field. And not just the components in the Bay Trail system, but the components in the alternative system that Bay Trail is competing against. Every OEM's BOM will be different, and so will the deltas vs. the equivalent ARM based system.
