The flyers take days to prep, not weeks. Those statements about the flyers having to be submitted several weeks ahead of time were discussed and found to be incorrect.

It takes just days to prepare big circulars like the ones used by Circuit City. We have people on the board who do it for a living and know.

There have been statements made that the flyers have to be submitted several weeks ahead of time.

If that is the case, and they pulled the ad just in case the partnership doesn't go through, wouldn't that then also mean that it will be several weeks before the ad shows up again? After all, they wouldn't be able to put the ad back in until deal was signed, which may not have happened until 10 days ago (or whenever) - giving several weeks lag time.

IMO....
Ads were pulled cos the roll out starts tomorrow (altho wont be announced tomorrow....perhaps). Roll out will be accompanied by NEW ads.
Same new ads will appear on CC website. May even appear on existing GZFX website (Big Boo Boo but there ya go).
Roll out will be announced anytime from tomorrow and end of march.
Forget any theory about printing fliers etc. It has been known for weeks...many weeks, whetehr the roll out was ON or not.

jimh, good point. The flyers for this upcoming Sunday have already been printed, shipped, and delivered. And perhaps the ones for the 26th have already been printed too.

So your statement that "they wouldn't be able to put the ad back in until deal was signed...giving several weeks lag time" is probably right on.
