That's why we saw Clover Trail+ Tablets for such a long time. It cost less than Bay Trail.

Makes sense.

At any rate, I am glad that we're finally starting to see Bay Trail-T available for purchase on Android devices. While the ones available don't have the latest Android build, I think it shouldn't be too hard to get a sense of how good the user experience is even with Android 4.2.

According to a Chinese site:

The processor supplied for value Tablets current consists of:

Atom Z2520 for 7-inch: $20
Atom Z3735G for 8-inch: $27
+LTE: $20

Mediatek's MT8382 costs $39.9 with 3G. The MT8382 is a Quad Core A9. $47 with LTE makes Bay Trail version VERY attractive.

So it seems that Clover Trail+ will play an important role for a little while longer. Intel's part count shows that Bay Trail Entry is at 478, Clover Trail at 496, and Bay Trail v0 at 700.

That's why we saw Clover Trail+ Tablets for such a long time. It cost less than Bay Trail.

......if these prices are correct, how can Intel lose any money at all selling either....even with substantial contra revenue payments?....
Explain.......Also how then can you rationalize what Intel said about losing 1.5pts of GM due to Contra Revenue in 2014. The numbers don't add up.......I think the prices are total BS.
