I agree completely. I have taken positions where the COO wants you to control every technical aspect of a startup and it's always hard to convince them of proper deligation even if one person can technically do the job and it usually involves the dreaded "budget" word. IMO a CEO should NEVER be handling website management or SEO. People don't realize that SEO requires maintenance and doesn't just "work" while website management / hosting is also a dynamic job based on traffic. Let someone else concentrate on CDN selection and focus on getting to phase 2 and 3+.
Let's turn this damn company into something great, not a basement startup but a real production company. I like the direction and tone of the company at this point and do feel they will succeed if they keep this type of attitude.
