Even though the Ellipta trademark refers to a specific inhalation device from GSK, there are various standalone drugs and combinations used with the device, and the trade names of the drugs and combinations sometimes vary by geography. Moreover, some of these products are approved for different indications (asthma only, COPD only, or both) in different geographies. THRX has an economic stake in some but not all of these precuts.
Looking at the asthma/COPD arena in general (not just the GSK/THRX portion), there are three main MoAs (LABA, LAMA, ICH) for the constituent ingredients, which yields six possible MoAs comprised of two agents.
