Granted, I should have read that article. But in all the limited amount of work that I've done with protein kinases (and everything that I've read about them), the number of kinases and phosphatases and the sheer damned interconnectedness of their various pathways is mind-boggling. Also, the author of that blog is not anonymous; he only keeps the identity of his employer under wraps. There are a lot of other articles I should have read. But there are also a lot of diapers that I have to change, which limits the time available.
