Do you or anyone know, if (basically speaking here) those generally quoted rates are the same for home equity loans too?

What I'm interested in is refinancing the initial loan and pulling out about 75% of the value in cash. When I emailed Lending Tree, they (their lender network) quoted me about 8 1/2%. No thanks, I'm not going to warm my ankles. <gg>
