The funding for the project is going to come from a major company with some sort of stipulations attached. Obviously a credit rating of at worst a triple B will be needed, there will need to be firm power purchase agreements, all the engineering stamps and approvals, etc. right now the company is not looking for 1.5 billion dollars. They have already spent around 10 million on R&D over the last three years. All they need now is a couple million dollars to chase the firm power purchase agreements, engineering approvals, etc. I know it doesn't sound like a lot of money but if you look at the team behind SWET like COMMONWEALTH DYNAMICS, WHITING TURNER, KRÖLL CRAINES. They have been doing substantial work for the company. SWET is way farther along than most people think. One more thing I would like to add. People say there is no "model". Well there is. It is a "to scale cad model". You cannot build a "model" that would show anything bc you need the height of the tower to be that high in order to create enough "downdraft wind" to make electricity. Now I can take dry ice and put it on top of a hollow cylinder and it will fall and air will come out the bottom. Simple science. Cold air falls hot air rises, Nothing new. If you really want to get information try calling the company and talking to someone there. Much more useful information.
