The compensation package of any top officer of any publicly traded company is the concern of its shareholders and they have the legal right to know what it is. As a matter of fact, disclosure of compesation is the law and it will be disclosed soon. I admit many compesation packages are exhorbitant and the severance packages of many executives leaving companies are even worse. Keeping all this hidden will do nothing to solve the problem. Full disclosure is what will eventually stop these inexcusable abuses.
