I am not seeing a mention of Iran's submarine fleet and latest member.

The straights of Hormuz card. I have been told it is shallow water and would be easy to close down. Aint going to happen till the stock market is on its way down in earnest. The world trade gap showed some interesting timing. I would think that closing the Straights of Hormuz would do more damage. Probably be a good deal for the Russians with more oil going North.

The Pentagon is particularly sensitive to the dangers of such attacks after al-Qaeda hit the USS Cole off the Yemen with a suicide boat in 2000, killing 17 American sailors. Last month the White House listed two foiled al-Qaeda plots to attack ships in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

US intelligence believes that if Iranian nuclear facilities were attacked by either America or Israel, then Teheran would respond by trying to close the Strait of Hormuz with naval forces, mines and anti-ship cruise missiles.

Don't have time to copy and paste at mo.
But these developments of note regards Iran and Iraq.
For every in your face tactic by U.S. Iran is getting right back to "in your face" to U.S.
**********************************************************
Iran has declared ALL talks, and tentatives agreements with Russis regards Russia providing the bulk of the uranium enrichment for Iran are now Null and Void, All talks are over, period
And state they will now pursue a MAJOR escalation in their project to enrich uranium themselves.(edit: i think this possibly means they ALREADY have the means in place, in secret, deep underground.--max)

*************************************************************
There has been a major vicious attack against the shi'ites of the slums of Sadr City.

Initial reports 37 dead, 84 wounded.
Such an attack is , in political terms, a fierce attack on Muqtada al Sadr and also the Jaafari government.

At the same time U.S. has managed to have a parliamentary government meeting 3 days earlier than scheduled.
Remember U.S. policy, things go the way they want them, your they will see Iraq in a sea of blood.
They did all they could to get rid of Jaafari(and deal a card against al Sadr) and failed.
But U.S. policy is the personality of Bush, he does not accept any way but his way.
I here again announce to all those that might still think Cheney the monster and Bush the "folksy dumbo" innocent; get a life and face the ugly reality, Bush is a folksy, incompetent monster, he is NOT Cheney's puppet.
I have been pounding this out for 3 years and i still read and hear liberals saying; it is really all Cheney with his Bush puppet.
This view is total rot, and those that STILL believe this spin should be card carrying members of The P.T.Barnum, Suckers Club

One of america's greatest writers in its history, E.L.Doctorow, has stated the Bush43 is a man that has Moral Vacancy.
This an erudite way of saying Bush is a psycopath, i am pleased to have an intellect as formidible as E.L.Doctorow come to agreement with me:) Max
