I believe the MM's have to steadily increase the ask/bid and hence the share price until someone budges. Like a showdown of some kind. I could be wrong.

To be honest, this is my first rodeo, with locking a FLOAT of this size..didn't think it would happen or even come close. Yet, here we are..
Logical, The Law of Supply and Demand would apply, but you need a little room to move shares around that many MM's and out to shareholders. We have 149 Street Names, meaning brokers handling a
FLOAT 4/15/2014 1,723,606,837 pared down to 5,472,007 by 4/24/2014.

That is pretty AWESOME! Of course there has been accumulation since 2010 or so..
