I had a feeling I'll embarrass myself by needing to further explain :) When posted: "A total failure means a very big hit but I don't think it will go this way", I meant the true hit to Gilead (that will lose a large part of its HIV market share to generics starting in 2018). But in the next post: "My hunch is that the hit GILD's stock will take if TAF fails will not be catastrophic and if I must please you with numbers I would guess 5-10%." I am saying that I think the market will not punish GILD (as it should) because of many reasons already brought up including yours.
